Introduction to Linocut Printmaking

Learn the basics of linocut printmaking from start to finish. We will create a design for relief printing, you can create your own or there will be simple designs to use for those who would prefer. We will learn cutting techniques for linoleum and printing a final print at the end. This is a fun technique to learn and you can use this for many reproduction applications.
Friendly, small group setting. Step-by-step instruction with room for your personal creativity.
All levels are welcome, including absolute beginners.

Pencil, transfer
Stock images to choose from if you don’t feel comfortable drawing
Linoleum Cutter, Pencil
Inking Plate, Ink, Brayer
Watercolor Paper to print on
